CRAZY SOCK DAY!!!! Wear those fancy socks (that won’t get caught in your chain).

Today’s ride plan is based on what kids learned from the second race. Chat with your ride group about their experience at the races so far (both Manti and Price). What has been hardest, what has gone well, what has been surprising, etc.?

One component that should be incorporated into every ride tonight is a 30-minute section of the ride dedicated to a tempo-pace+ workout. The pace should be below race-pace, but not by much. The goal is to elevate heart rates and keep them up uninterrupted for 30ish minutes. Riders should be able to speak in multiple-word responses, but should not be speaking in full sentences.

Other than this 30-minute tempo-pace+ section of the ride, as ride leaders you are free to customize the balance of the ride in the way that you believe will best serve the interests of the majority of your riders. Thanks for your dedication!!!
