September 11 (Snowbird)

• TRAINING PLAN •

For Everyone:

Time to try some new trails! All will meet at Snowbird- parking entrance 1.

PINK / BLACK / GOLD / SILVER

You can also do the loop described below. It is a great route- one used for Intermountain Cup races. It has great technical sections to practice. You could also get some more elevation by taking Gad Valley Road up to one of the intersections with Big Mountain Trail and ride that down to Baby Thunder.

PURPLE / BLUE / GREEN / YELLOW / ORANGE / RED

Enjoy the new terrain. Follow the yellow trail along Creek Road. Then turn back and follow Dean’s Delight back to Baby Thunder and down to Creek Road again. Feel free to session some things to build confidence. For some of these groups, it’s ok to point out that sometimes, it’s might just be more time efficient to jump off your bike and run up something and jump back on your bike instead of getting hung up on the technical stuff. Use your best judgement as ride leaders – safety first. Explore around and enjoy the vistas! Be warned though that some access roads are super steep and best to be avoided!
