For Everyone:

ALL GROUPS

Focus on continuous riding at Zone 3 (short phrases should be possible). Before leaving the trailhead, choose two or three skills that your group will work on during practice. Choose from the list below or come up with your own if you know what your group needs.

  • Shifting before the hill or obstacle
  • Drinking while pedaling
  • Passing/being passed without stopping or slowing down
  • Holding a line while climbing
  • Bending the knees and elbows in ready position
  • Rolling/pedaling over rocky sections (check out the area around Potato Hill for more rocks)
  • Communicating / Encouraging your teammates
  • Trail Etiquette
